La participation des enfants aux procédures de protection de la jeunesse au Québec

Formation avec progression et attestation

What place and what role are given to the child within the framework of youth protection procedures? Can the child participate in his own protection? Does the Quebec youth protection judicial system give full effect to the right of the child to give his opinion on matters that concern him? This video training on the participation of children in youth protection procedures in Quebec offers an innovative educational experience based on interviews reporting on the research of Professor Mona Paré and the practice of her collaborators working in the Quebec judicial system. This project of the Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section, of the University of Ottawa is made possible thanks to the collaboration of our partners. The research project on which this visiotraining is based was funded by the Raoul Barbe and Yolande Larose scholarship for the study of the judiciary and a partnership development grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). .
