J<\/span>urivision<\/span> <\/span>is<\/span> <\/span>publishing<\/span> <\/span>two<\/span> <\/span>video<\/span> podcasts in collaboration <\/span>with<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Communitas<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/a>, a <\/span>peer-reviewed<\/span> <\/span>scientific<\/span> journal <\/span>affiliated<\/span> <\/span>with<\/span> the <\/span>Department<\/span> of Legal Sci<\/span><\/a>ences and the <\/span>Faculty<\/span> of <\/span>Political<\/span><\/a> Science and Law of the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al<\/a><\/span> (UQAM)<\/span>. <\/span>These<\/span> podcasts <\/span>were<\/span> <\/span>produced<\/span> by <\/span>SineCoreMedia<\/span>, in collaboration <\/span>with<\/span> <\/span>UQAM’s<\/span> <\/span>Faculty<\/span> of <\/span>Political<\/span> Science and Law, <\/span>its<\/span> <\/span>Department<\/span> of Legal Sciences (<\/span>where<\/span> the journal <\/span>is<\/span> <\/span>housed<\/span>) and the <\/span>Distinguished<\/span> <\/span>Research<\/span> Chair in <\/span>Occupational<\/span> <\/span>Health<\/span> and <\/span>Safety<\/span> Law <\/span>at<\/span> the Civil Law Section, <\/span>Faculty<\/span> of Law, <\/span>University<\/span> of Ottawa. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Communitas journal recently published its second issue under the co-editorship of doctoral student Jean-Paul Dautel and Professor Katherine Lippel. Focusing on the plurality of normativities in occupational health and safety, this issue aims to understand how the different sources of regulation and the actors they target allow us to rethink the health and safety of workers. The publication of this issue pays tribute to Professor Katherine Lippel, who passed away last September, and whose research focused on an interdisciplinary analysis of occupational injury prevention and compensation regimes in occupational health and safety law. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two podcasts have been created to introduce the authors of the issue and to stimulate the curiosity of readers. We invite you to hear from jurists, sociologists, ergonomists and occupational psychologists, whose articles cover topics as diverse as the phenomenon of standardization of occupational health and safety, industrial safety management, health work, employment of disabled workers, prevention of occupational cancers, financing of occupational plans, domestic violence and the use of glyphosate-based herbicides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
