Made possible by the financial support from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). These visual publications promote the mobilization of legal research knowledge while highlighting the authors who choose to publish their work with the <em>Revue<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2012, the Supreme Court of Canada\u2019s landmark <a href=\"https:\/\/decisions.scc-csc.ca\/scc-csc\/scc-csc\/en\/item\/10006\/index.do\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Downtown Eastside Sex Workers<\/em><\/a> ruling expanded the criteria for public interest standing. But how does this framework align with the <em>Code of Civil Procedure<\/em> of Quebec, which sets out a more restrictive approach to the issue?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this visual publication, Paul-David Chouinard, a doctoral candidate at the University of Ottawa\u2019s Faculty of Law, explores this conflict of norms and the context surrounding the <em>Downtown Eastside<\/em> ruling.
