Entitled \u201cSciences, Savoirs et Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s\u201d, the Congress brought together over a thousand francophone and francophile scientists at the University of Ottawa in July 2024.<\/p>\n\n<p>In this post, Professor Zouheir Ben Jannet explains the decolonization process in Tunisian sociology and explores the Arab sociological heritage. He discusses the development of new avenues of research in response to many of the political and cultural changes that occurred following the Tunisian revolution of 2011.
