This video, featuring Elder Gr\u00e9goire Canap\u00e9, Eric Kanap\u00e9 and learners Steve Launi\u00e8re and Jeannette Martin, was produced by Florence Robert and Simon Beaumier as part of the Wapanakew project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From August 12 to 15, 2024, the third cohort of the Certificate in Indigenous Law had the honour of being hosted by the Kanap\u00e9 family at the traditional Innu site of Kanapeut, north of Pessamit. Evenings were devoted to stories, tales, legends and ceremonies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This intensive course is part of the Certificate in Indigenous Law, which emphasizes a pedagogy deeply rooted in indigenous traditions.
